I am new to San Clemente so I have to start over when it comes to picking contractors for our household projects. I felt a bit nervous when choosing a company to install pavers (and a wall). This was a big project for us and I wanted to make sure we chose a reputable company that was going to provide excellent service and Ocean Pavers did not disappoint. They were amazing from start to finish. Brad came to our house and gave us what I thought was a fair estimate. It was not the highest or lowest but based on my research (my vetting process is extensive - I always research companies on CA consumer affairs, better business bureau etc...) they seemed like the best choice. I value responsiveness and both Chad and Dieter excelled in this department. I have found that responsiveness is not a trait that most contractors possess. Rarely do I get a response to my email or text in the same day but with Dieter he always responded to my questions. He kept me in the loop every day. I always knew where I stood with the project. As I said, I place a high value on responsiveness. His crew was very professional, they cleaned up at the end of the day and always asked my opinion if needed. The most important piece was the quality of the work. It truly looks amazing! I highly recommend Ocean Pavers.

Dieter and his crews did a phenomenal job replacing my 20-year old paver patio that was being destroyed by tree roots. I also had them tear out my old sod and install artificial turf. They were fast, extremely efficient and the entire project was competitively priced. They took out the invasive tree roots that popped up my old pavers, leveled out my yard and patio, and now the entire yard drains exceptionally well.
Paver and turf samples were delivered quickly from different vendors after the design process. For those wondering, I chose the 60-ounce lime green turf as opposed to the olive green turf and I love it.
For a project of this size and scope, I was surprised to encounter only a couple of very minor glitches, which were resolved immediately, and overall the project went seamlessly. I couldn’t be happier with the final results. Many thanks, Dieter.

Just look at the pics I posted. Ocean Pavers did an outstanding job on pathways and patio.
Dieter the owner himself asked me more than once if I was satisfied. He truly cares about a job well done.
I can tell you that if there is a problem he will correct it.

Not going to use this company. Field guy Chad was nice but the owner isn’t concerned about his customer. Wasn’t willing to accommodate at all. I was told my job would begin next week. Have been planning for this for two months. Owner just told me today that it would be a month. Totally wasted my time.
