My experience has been very positive. They are very responsive and reasonably priced. The entire staff is very kind and professional. In the last month I have had to use them on 3 separate issues. Tony and Sergio were the best.

Great experience from the time I called to the time my plumber left! Rolando was very thorough, helpful with explaining the problem I had, and quick in fixing it and getting us back up and running. He was also incredibly friendly which made me feel more at ease about the whole situation. Thanks Rolando!

Great experience with a water heater replacement. The price quoted over the phone was honored with no upcharges added on-site. Work was started at the promised time and completed quickly and professionally. Highly recommended!

RSM over charges and take advantage of elderly. Gilbert came out to my father's home in Costa Mesa for a simple clogged drain My father told him where the clog was and how to access it, but he refused to do as he was asked. Instead he spent two hours checking other drain and eventually coming back to the original location that my father told him where the clog was. He cleared the clog in less than 15 minutes and charged $300 for the 2 hours. Gilbert told my father because he knew where the clog was giving him a discount by only charging the $300. My father is 83 years old. Not only did he talk advantage of the elderly, but the time was milked to get more money.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Santa Margarita Plumbing for helping me with my tankless water heater over New Year’s.

Of course, my water heater had to go out on New Year’s Day when I had all my kids home and two extra guests (8 humans and 5 dogs) and no hot water. I had a tankless Noritz water heater from 2007 and on New Year’s Day, it decided to not work. Thankfully, it worked in the morning when I took my shower, but that afternoon, it stopped working. I got to work on Yelp, asking for a plumber to come out and take a look at it. I was quoted everything from $120 to $195 just to come look and that would not go towards the repairs. I called 18 plumbing companies! Thankfully, one of them was Santa Margarita Plumbing. I spoke to Rolando (I think). He said that their diagnostic fee was $65 and that would go towards any repair. He explained that he didn’t have technicians available that day (New Year’s Day) but the supplier where they get the parts from would not be open anyway, so I’d still have to wait until the next day for the repair. After I resigned to the fact that I would have to go the rest of the day without hot water, I booked Santa Margarita Plumbing to come between 8am and 10am the next day. The technician, Randy, arrived at 8:15 the next day and got started diagnosing the problem. He found the broken part and contacted Noritz for the replacement part, but because the water heater was so old and discontinued, they didn’t carry that part anymore, so it would have to be ordered, which would take two weeks. My other option would be to buy a new water heater. I did end up getting a new water heater because I didn’t want to go two weeks without hot water. And even if I did decide to order the parts, it would cost $850 to repair when the replacement unit cost $2,250. So long story short, Santa Margarita Plumbing has the lowest diagnostic fee and even though tankless water heaters sound like a good idea, they don't last very long and they are expensive as heck.
